Overview

May Saad is an attorney in our Real Estate practice group, working closely with our Finance practice group. She represents owners, developers, operators, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, restructurings, and workouts.

May draws on her vast experience when representing her clients. Prior to joining Jaffe, May practiced in commercial and real estate litigation and business and bankruptcy law. She has represented clients in judicial foreclosure proceedings and actions to enforce interests in real property as well as in complex litigation matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties and self-dealing associated with the ownership and management of businesses. Her expertise extends to bringing and defending actions for receivership of commercial properties.

May’s practice focuses on advising clients on a variety of real estate transactional matters, including the selection and structure of business entities, financing transactions, and utilizing like-kind Exchanges under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 1031. She also assists clients in evaluating, analyzing, and negotiating the terms of proposed real estate-related investments.
