Cass Cook is an attorney in our Intellectual Property practice group. Cass specializes in domestic and international trademark, copyright and related business matters, representing local, domestic and international clients in diverse industries including the arts, automotive, media, electronics, software, design, manufacturing, sports and recreation, medical products and services, apparel and accessories, luxury brands and hospitality services, financial and insurance services, publishing, technology, education and entertainment.

Cass handles matters related to brand development and brand enforcement, focusing on the clearance, prosecution, licensing, management, protection and enforcement of proprietary interests and rights locally, domestically and internationally via trademarks, copyrights, domain names, unfair competition, the right of publicity, social media, anti-cyber squatting, defamatory websites, and geographical indications.

Cass has a successful background in trademark prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, copyright prosecution before the U.S. Copyright Office, Ex Parte and Inter Partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and disputes before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration forums.
