Jaffe Attorney Christopher Andreoff Named 2021 “Lawyer Of The Year” By Best Lawyers

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug. 25, 2020 – Christopher Andreoff, attorney at Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” in the area of white collar criminal defense by Best Lawyers. Jaffe CEO Jeffrey M. Weiss made the announcement.

Recognition by Best Lawyers is based solely on peer review. The organization’s methodology is designed to capture the opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographic or legal practice area. Only one lawyer is recognized as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each specialty and location.

Andreoff is a member of Jaffe’s white collar criminal defense, litigation & dispute resolution, appellate and data privacy & cybersecurity practice groups. He specializes in civil and criminal litigation, administrative law and appellate practice in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Jaffe, Andreoff spent 7 years with the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and 5 years as a Deputy Chief and Acting Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force for Michigan. While in private practice, Andreoff has participated in more than 50 high profile civil and criminal cases in Michigan and beyond. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University and a J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
