Appel Joins Jaffe’s Corporate and Financial Services Practice Groups

SOUTHFIELD, MICH. – Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. a leading Michigan business law firm, recently hired Gabriel Appel as an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services Practice Groups. Appel will concentrate his practice on mergers and acquisitions, and assisting emerging companies.

Prior to joining Jaffe, Appel served as a summer associate at David H. Fink and Associates in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., as well as an intern for Circuit Court Judge Phyllis McMillen and district Court Judge Joseph Longo.

Appel, a member of the Order of Coif, earned a Juris Doctor degree, Magne cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit. During his time at WSU, he was a member of The Wayne Law Review, and both won and acted as director of the Transactional Law Competition, which is designed to enable students to experience transactional law in a real-world setting. Appel earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies focusing on psychology, history and English form the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. While at U of M, he was a member of the Lloyd Hall Scholars Program.
