Jaffe Associate Sarah Weston Appointed to ISO Best Practices committee of the Electronic Transactions Association (Monday, January 17, 2011)

Sarah Weston, an associate with Southfield, Mich.-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been appointed to a one-year term on the Independent Sales Organization (ISO) Best Practices Committee of the Washington, D.C.-based Electronic Transactions Association (ETA). Jaffe CEO Richard Zussman made the announcement.

The ETA is the international trade association serving the needs of companies offering payment transaction processing and related products and services, such as credit and debit card processing, gift cards and electronic payment systems. Serving companies throughout the United States and internationally, the ETA provides governmental advocacy, education and networking opportunities to its more than 500 member companies.

The committee is responsible for identifying and communicating issues that affect the independent sales organization community, as well as recommending programs, services and events that would best meet the needs of the target market segment. Through surveys and focus groups, the committee provides input and direction on areas that need to be addressed through association programs, products and services, including education and research.

Weston is a member of the Firm's Finance and Corporate Practice Groups. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and a magna cum laude graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law and a member of the ETA where she also serves on the Education Committee.
