Jaffe Attorney Peter M. Falkenstein Appointed to Professionalism Advisory Committee of Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Monday, November 15, 2010)

Peter M. Falkenstein, a partner in the Ann Arbor office of Southfield, Michigan-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been appointed to the Professionalism Advisory Committee of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Jaffe CEO Richard Zussman made the announcement.

The committee was established as part of Cooley's Professionalism Plan, to affirmatively incorporate principles of professionalism, civility and ethics into the core fabric of the Law School's program, culture and environment.

Mr. Falkenstein is a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property and Litigation Practice Groups, concentrating in trademark and copyright litigation, licensing, and registration, as well as e-commerce, cyberlaw and general commercial litigation.

He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan and 1988 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as one of Michigan's top intellectual property lawyers for five consecutive years, Mr. Falkenstein is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and New York. He is also the President-elect of the Washtenaw County Bar Association and a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Character and Fitness Committee (District G).
