Joel Alam, a partner with Southfield-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C., has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine in the 2008 Corporate Counsel edition.

Mr. Alam is the head of the Firm's Corporate and Business Transactions Group. Mr. Alam earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and graduated with high distinction from DePaul University College of Law in 1986, where he was editor of the DePaul Law Review. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. He currently resides in Grosse Pointe.
