Impact Investing and Social Enterprise

Jaffe's Impact Investing and Social Enterprise Practice Group advises investing funds, foundation and individual impact investors, as well as for-profit and nonprofit social enterprises at all stages, on both a local and national level. We rely upon our business, securities and nonprofit acumen in advising on optimal structures for social enterprise activities and investments, including with respect to utilization of one of the many hybrid entity forms (L3C, benefit corporation, etc.) and eligibility for program related investment and other potential investment capital. Our firm helped found the Detroit chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance, is deeply committed to advancing the social enterprise sector, and our attorneys are regularly invited to speak on the topic as well as to advise government and other leaders on social enterprise.
