Susan M. Sutton

Susan M. Sutton is a partner in the Southfield office of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss. She is a member of the Firm's Estate Planning and Probate Practice Groups, specializing in estate planning, wealth transfer, business succession planning and trust administration. She has also been elected to the Board of Directors for a one year-term.

Susan concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, wealth preservation and transfer, and succession planning. She advises clients with respect to basic estate planning, requiring wills, revocable trusts and powers of attorney, as well as more complicated wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning involving family limited liability companies or partnerships, irrevocable trusts and other wealth transfer vehicles.

She earned her Bachelor's degree with honors from Michigan State University and is a cum laude graduate of Wayne State University Law School, where she served as note and comment editor of the Wayne Law Review.
