Robert E. Lewis

Robert E. Lewis is a partner in the Southfield office of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss. He is the Past Practice Group Coordinator of the Firm's Tax Practice Group, specializing in taxation law.

He advises publicly held and closely held corporations, as well as partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals on all aspects of federal, state and local tax laws. Bob works closely with clients in providing tax-planning advice in the areas of business transactions, securities, litigation, public finance and municipal affairs, bankruptcy and reorganization, estate planning and real estate. He is extensively involved in tax audits, appeals and litigation at the federal, state and local levels.

Bob earned his Bachelor's degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. He also earned his Certificate of Examination from the University of Michigan.
