Patrice S. Arend

Patrice S. Arend is a partner in the Southfield office of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss. She is a member of the Litigation Practice Group, specializing in commercial disputes and employment litigation. She also advises clients on employment related issues, including hiring, termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, Family and Medical Leave Act, employee handbooks, and confidentiality and non-compete agreements. Before joining Jaffe, she served as a staff attorney for the Supreme Court of Illinois from 1996-1998.

Patrice is a magna cum laude graduate of Wayne State University and earned her Master's degree from Wayne State University. She is an honors graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was an Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honors Society.
