The Aviation Practice Group conducts a local, regional and national practice.  The members of the Group are recognized locally and nationally as leading practitioners in their fields.  National and regional lenders, lessors, manufacturers and Part 121 and 135 operators and individuals pilots, currently utilize the services of Jaffe for the preparation, negotiation and closing of complex loan or lease origination transactions, the acquisition and sale of all manner of aircraft, consumer and commercial lease recovery actions and FAA administrative law proceedings.  Jaffe, is the General Counsel to the National Aircraft Finance Association, and David Warner (one of our members) is a member of the NAFA Board of Directors. Another member, Scott Torpey is the Past Chairman of the Aviation Liabilities Committee of the State Bar of Michigan

The Aviation Practice Group offers a variety of fee structures, depending on the volume of work provided and the complexity of the transaction.  Because we are located in Southfield, our fees are considerably less than those charged by firms located in major markets.  For this reason, many of our clients use our services for regional work in major market areas.  While our services are generally offered at an hourly rate, contingency matters will be considered.
