Southfield, MI. - April 21, 2008 - Jeffrey G. Heuer, a partner in the Southfield office of Michigan-based Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C. has been appointed to the American Arbitration Association's (AAA) Panel of Neutrals.  Jaffe CEO Richard Zussman made the announcement.

The AAA provides services to individuals and organizations that wish to resolve conflicts out of court through arbitration or mediation in a fair and impartial manner.  Composed of more than 7,000 members throughout the world, the AAA's National Panel of Neutrals possess years of industry-specific knowledge and experience.

Mr. Heuer specializes in complex business litigation involving corporate, partnership, trust, securities, real estate and construction issues.

He is a 1964 graduate of the University of Michigan and a 1967 cum laude and order of the coif graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he served as assistant editor of the Michigan Law Review.

Mr. Heuer is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association and the Forum on the Construction Industry.
