Southfield, MI - February 1, 2008 - Jennifer M. Oertel has been named partner at the Southfield office of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss, P.C.  Jaffe CEO Richard Zussman made the announcement.

Ms. Oertel is a member of the Firm's Corporate Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate law and finance, with a focus on start-up and emerging growth companies, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and nonprofit organizations.  She is a 1993 graduate of The Honors College at Michigan State University and a 1997 graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston.

A published author, she is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association.
