More About Us Our primary office is located in Southfield. We have 2 satellite offices located in Ann Arbor, and Detroit, Michigan. Each of these is fully equipped with high speed internet and remote access. As of January 1, 2008 we had 104 attorneys, consisting of 69 partners, 28 associates, and 7 of counsel. We also have 17 legal assistants and over 90 support staff. The vast majority of our professional and support staff is located in our Southfield office. Employment Data The Firm has experienced sustained growth since its inception in 1968. In 2008, the weekly salary for a summer associate is $1,925.00. The starting annual salary for a new, first year associate is expected to be $100,000.00 with a $5,000 signing bonus. Practice Areas Our major areas of practice include:
Membership Track We have a two-tiered membership track. An attorney is eligible after 5.5 years to become a non-equity member and a after an additional 3 years to become an equity member. Pro Bono The Firm encourages its attorneys to participate in Pro Bono activities. The Firm was honored as Law Firm of the Year by Community Legal Resources (CLR) for "outstanding monetary and volunteer contributions" to the CLR program, which provides free legal assistance to nonprofit organizations.
