Before Mike was admitted to practice and joined the firm in 1977, he spent 10 years as a claims adjuster and supervisor with 3 national insurance carriers. Since joining the firm, Mike has used his background and experience in the insurance industry to assist our clients in disputes with insurers concerning the scope of coverage under general and umbrella liability, professional and directors' and officers' and trust department E & O liability insurance and the effect of numerous exclusions in those policies on the duty of the insurer to defend and indemnify our client in a variety of situations. Mike has also represented our clients in disputes concerning the impact of competing "other insurance" or "excess" clauses.
