Eric represents developers and industrialists in the acquisition of contaminated real property and business's impacted by environmental laws. In connection with that work, Eric has overseen the performance of environmental site assessments, baseline environmental assessments, subsurface investigations, compliance audits and off-site disposal analyses as part of the due diligence investigation prior to acquisition. As part of the corporate team, Eric negotiates environmental representations and warranties and indemnification provisions. He has also been involved in numerous cost recovery actions both on behalf of plaintiff and defendant, insurance coverage litigation and in the defense of class action suits.
