Arthur Siegal was recognized as Volunteer of the quarter from Community Legal Resources. Arthur served on the Michigan HIspanic Chamber annual luncheon committee that sponsored a lunch featuring Mayor Kilpatrick. He also published "Document Destruction Violated the FOIA: Government agencies routinely delete e-mail records tha tshould be accessible under the Freedom of Information Act, which appeared in the Michigan Bar Journal.

Adam Lumberg and Deborah Baughman presented to the Tax and Estate Planning Group at DCL @ MSU regarding career opportunities in tax and estate planning.

Holli Targan published "The Rights of Employers and Sales Agents" in the April, 2002 issue of Transaction World Magazine.

Harold Pope served as a moderator for sessions at the ABA's Bar Leadership Association's Annual convention.

Jay Welford spoke at the CLLA/NACM joint conference on the topic "The Anatomy of a COmposition Agreement"

Mark Rabidoux spoke on topic of RESPA to the Michigan Mortgage Brokers Association.

Shirley Kaigler was selected as chair of an ad hoc committee to study the section of the Uniform Principal and income Act dealing with the unitrust concept. She also presented an estate planning seminar for the married couples' club of the Metropolitan Church of God.

Larry Jordan has been appointed to the Technology Advisory Board of ICLE. Larry also guest lectured to the Computer Law class at UD-Mercy Law school on software licensing.
