Susan represents clients in all aspects of divorce (pre-and post-judgment; estates of all sizes), separation, custody, visitation, support, paternity, adoption, guardianships, change of domicile, issues arising out of surrogate parenting arrangements, including the correction of birth certificates, and pre-and post-nuptial agreements. She also has experience as a commercial litigator, representing clients in employment law (wrongful discharge, breach of employment agreements, separation agreements, covenant not to compete and other employment related issues) and general commercial litigation (breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes and other complex litigation). Susan was selected by Crain's Detroit Business as on of "40 Under 40" in October, 2001.  Susan is currently the chairperson of the Family Law Group.  She is also a member of the Firm's Board of Directors.
