Elliot is "of counsel" to the Firm. He has expertise in the areas of mortgage banking, general corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisitions and non-profit law.  He was previously on the Firm's Executive Committee and Chair of its Business Transactions Group.  Elliot is a Professor and Assistant Dean at Michigan State University College of Law where he teaches contracts, securities regulation, corporate finance and mortgage banking.  Elliot was appointed in February 2008 by the Federal Housing Finance Board to the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis.  He is also on the Board of Directors of The Children's Center of Wayne County and MSU Hillel.
